Call Flow Studio installs free and stays free. One license per PBX, the same $79 on the FreePBX family and on VitalPBX. What that license unlocks is the one thing that differs between them.
Every install starts with a 30-day full trial: no card, nothing auto-charges. When the trial ends, Call Flow Studio keeps running on its free tier. The license is what you buy when that free tier stops being enough.

Call Flow Studio is read-only on VitalPBX for everyone, licensed or not, because making changes lives in the VitalPBX admin UI. So here the license is about scale rather than editing. Add a tenant and it’s on the canvas next load, with no second license to buy. You can hold a login down to the tenants it should see: give a customer or a junior tech the User role and they open, search and reload only the tenants you assigned. Worth knowing before you set those up, though. An unlicensed box shows nobody anything past the free first two, so a login scoped to tenant four has nothing to open until you activate.
Print a fresh approval diagram for any tenant, however many you run, and send it out under your own company name: a purchased license lets you set the credit line in the corner of a PNG or SVG to whatever you want, or leave it empty.
Licensed per PBX, one time. No per-seat count, no per-tenant math. The license stays with that PBX for as long as it's in service, the same as everything else you install on it.
The same license, bought several at a time. One activation code per license, all in one email, each binding to its own PBX whenever you get to that PBX. Unused codes don’t expire, and since there’s only the one license, a pack covers FreePBX and VitalPBX machines in whatever mix you run.
